Having a little free time today, I decided to invest a slice of bread and make things happen!

I broke a hole in the middle of the bread and put Cashie’s face in the middle of the bread. Cashie didn’t look happy being tortured by me, however, I was entirely happy. Laughing out loud!

Cashie was my only target cos he fears of nothing and he is very loving. Knowing that he was the only victim.

Of course, he was struggling to remove the bread. After he has successfully removed the bread, I caught him licking his face as if his face was tasty.

What other ways can I abused my cats? And who will be my next victim?

Today is 23rd of February. It is Miemi’s second year anniversary. We lit a candle for her last night too and Mel and I talked about how we can commemorate Miemi and I decided to feed my community cats with Fussie Cat canned food. Not the big can but the small one.

I knew the cats were happy and contented. Each and every one of them had a can :).

I have just lit a candle 15mins ago and I left it at Miemi’s alter.

It is a candle of blessing from all of us to Miemi. I believe Miemi receive our messages and love. It is not only today that I send her my love, but everyday.

Miemi always loves to sleep like that. I remember there was one night I heard her hissing and I woke up from my sleep wondering who Miemi was hissing at. I turned my head and she was just sleeping next to me with her eyes shut. Immediately I knew she was having a bad dream cos our neighbour’s cat was always attempting to attack Miemi. That was why the hissing!

I called her name and tapped her softly. She was still hissing the minute when she opened her eyes. It took only a second for her to take a good look at me and when she recognized me, she gave me her most gentle meow.
I petted her head, telling her it was just a dream and I was with her and she was safe :).

I have learnt so much from Miemi. Animals do dream like us. We must respect them. There is no such thing as second class sentient being.
After writing this, I felt that I really love to talk about Miemi. She is not far from me I know. We hold our hearts close to each other…and Mummy always loves you:)!

Angel was found abandoned two months ago. Just like other kittens, she is very active and playful. It took me quite some time to decide to bring her home.

image

Look at how cute she is! She was three to four months old then and now the vet estimated her to be five months old.

I brought her home more than a month ago. And on the next day, I brought her to the adoption drive. There were interested adopters. However, they refused to sterilize her and intend to breed her. Without hesitation I crossed them out.

Angel is scheduled to be sterilised on next Friday. I want to make sure she is safe and I arranged Dr Tharm to do it for her. I feel safe when my cats are with her.

image

Its so hard to get a good shot of her at home cos she is always running and jumping around. Anyway, Mel managed to capture this picture. She is sooo sweet!:)

I will be sending her to the cat museum tomorrow and will only bring her back on Sunday evening. Fostering is never easy. Especially when it is time to let go…

I hope Angel finds a forever loving home… What else can a fosterer wish for…

The below picture was taken on the day we sent Brownie to his new home.

image

My heart was heavy that day. I knew I am going to miss him.
Beside being vocal, Brownie is definitely a good boy. He loves to be with humans.

The person who adopted him was a young lady. Her mother had agreed to let her keep Brownie.

When we got there that afternoon, Brownie’s adopter had prepared him his bed, food and litter box. Of course Brownie hid under the sofa. He came out only to have his meal and went under again:).

The adopter sent us Brownie’s photo.

image

Look at how fortunate Brownie is. He is sleeping on the bed. I nearly broke into tears when I saw this picture. Brownie no longer has to sleep under the car. Walk around under the sun and hide from the rain and wait for my meal once a day. He has his meals twice a day I believe. He has a home!

We will be visiting Brownie soon to see how he is doing. I intend to get him a scratch pad. I really hope his new family is loving him.

Bluz and Brownie are from Hougang. The reason I brought them home was to prevent the stray dogs from attacking them.

Bluz is a Siamese cross. I notice that he can’t see clearly under bright sunlight and tend to knock onto other cats. Brownie is a tabby brown cat. He is not as alert as other cats. I used to worry about Snowy, knowing that she was weak and will face danger from the dogs but I did nothing about it and left her alone to fend for herself against the stray dogs. If only I had brought her home…

Now Snowy was gone and another cat had been killed by the dog brutally. I had to bring the weakest cats home. They are Bluz and Brownie.

This is Bluz. He is estimated to be six years old.

This is Brownie. He is estimated to be two years old.
Both had been tested FIV and FeLV negative and vaccinated. I have decided to rehome them.

I have brought them to two adoption drives. However, they were unsuccessful. The next adoption drive will be on the 31st of Jan. Hopefully, they can find a forever loving home.

The stray dogs were trapped and I don’t see them anymore. Thanks to Blessed who appeared at my feeding area.

Blessed is well taken care of by his fosterer. He has put on one kilogram. If only…if only, Blessed appears before Snowy…things would be different.

I feel so relaxed now knowing that the cats are safe from the dogs now.
