Cats who teach me to fly…

It is my first time growing plants. Thinking of showing my gratitude, therefore, I decided to grow plants. One for all my teachers, one for Mel and one for Miemi. Next Sunday is Miemi’s one year anniversary. In order to commemorate Miemi, I decided to grow a plant for her.

I left them at my window in my hall, hoping to get sunlight.

I am also growing catnip. This is for all of my cats. It was planted on the same day and time too. I left it in my service yard.

Let’s wait for a few weeks and see how it goes:).

I heard from the neighbours in Whampoa several times that there is a skinny and injured cat wondering around looking for food. They said his legs looks terrible. I tried to find him but I didn’t see him.

Finally , I got to see him on the fourth day of CNY and I also see another kitten. I brought the both of them home.

This is 顺顺, a male cat. Before I sent him for sterilisation, I consulted the vet to make sure that it is alright to sterilise him. 顺顺 both bind legs were crooked. His movement is restricted and he could not even scratch himself. He always falls.

The vet said that he was hit badly by something. I cannot release him as he was attacked by some cats when we were bringing him back that day.

This is 利利, female. She is a smart cat.

She is released today. I knew she is taken care by someone as she looks fleshy so I decided to follow her. Yes, she went back home and I managed to speak with her owner. They were happy to see her and was ok with the sterilisation. I thank them for taking care of 利利.

It is a happy ending. Mel and I are happy too for 利利.

As for 顺顺. I pray that we will find him a loving home soon.

It’s 20mins to CNY. Hmm… The only thing that is special this CNY is I am living in a new place. A much better environment and I love the energy flow here. It is always windy and quiet.

The community cats have Burp canned food today. Ah Pak and Yiwang has it too. I will capture their photo soon. I fed Suigu today. I hope to see her everyday so that I can feed her. There is a selfish family who always throw the food and water I left for Suigu. They too have cats but they only love their cat. Because they threw the food that I spend money to buy, I quarrelled with them. I demand them to pay me back my money. I yelled at them loud and clear. They seemed to throw the food and water again when I was away to feed other cats. I did not catch them red handed. However, I warned them that if they ever throw my food again, I will throw away whatever things that I see on their corridor that belong to them. It’s 12am now. Welcome the year of horse. May all sentient being be free from suffering.

Suigu is only four months old. She is so skinny and has to defend herself. How can this family simply throw her food away and not let her eat? Ugly family. I make sure I watch Suigu eat her food.

I did not see another kitten name Yellow at Hougang today. Guess she is only five months old and hope she is ok and I will see her tomorrow.

So much about the community cats:). All my angels are well and pampered.

I have stopped taking meat. I don’t call myself a vegetarian. When people ask, I would just tell them that I don’t take meat. I can feel the anImals pain and I don’t want to deny or ignore it anymore. To show them that i love them is to stop eating them. I want and choose to love them.

I am still having a millionaire dream:).

This is the second flowers arrangement I did for Miemi after I shifted in.

It was a simple arrangement.

CNY is just another day, isn’t it? At least it is for me:)

So, neighbours are complaining about the community cats in Hougang Ave 7 a nuisance. They complained to me many times that the cats went up to pee and poo and I have told them many times too that there are people on top feeding the cats and that is why the cats go up and pee and poo. I told them the only way to stop the cats from going up the block is to stop people from feeding them on top. They won’t listen and keep putting the blame on me for feeding the cats. They knew their neighbours are feeding them and yet they refused to approached them. Hmm….

I tried to lure the cats to another quiet place to feed them, hopefully to save them from being put to sleep if the neighbours complain. However, I realised that whether I am feeding the cats or stop feeding the cats, the consequence is the same. These neighbours just want the cats to go away.

I have come to a decision finally. All this while, I have been quite stressed over the neighbours complains despite that I always keep the place clean after feeding the cats. I know by listening to them to stop feeding the cats will not solve the problem. Problem will still arise one after another.

So, my decision is, from now on, I will feed these lovely cats whenever I want and wherever I want. I will and have to keep the place clean as usual after feeding them. I will not argue with anyone. I just want to spend quality time with the cats. Feeding them and loving them. The neighbours want to starve them so that they will not pee and poo ha…. But I choose to feed them than to starve them.

Today, you stop others from feeding the hungry, tomorrow someone will stop someone who is trying to feed the hungry you.

It’s the last day of 2013. How time flies! I am home now, with Miemi, Cashie, Monnie, Sunkiss and Polar. Look at Polar, he is grooming right in front of me.

I tapped him lightly to get his attention to look at my ipad. He is behaving more and more like a cat now. As he is deaf, he tends to meow extremely loud. There is nothing I can stop him. Hopefully, my neighbours don’t complain.

Little Monnie is lazing beside me too.

I was trying to take a picture of Monnie, Sunkiss and Cashie appear suddenly and I got Cashie photo.

Sunkiss is grooming for Monnie. Sunkiss is always so loving towards Cashie and Monnie.

Monnie just didn’t want to turn her head towards me and Miemi is just right in my heart and not far away from me. Well, she might be lazing next to me too:). I know Miemi is always around.

Though I am alone in the house but not lonely at all. Spending time with all my angels is what I want to do on every occasion.

I fed the community cats in both Whampoa and Hougang just now. This new year, I wish all community cats safe and sound and that they are well-fed and loved by many. My furkids will be healthy and playful and Miemi will be guided, protected and loved by angels:).

Hope Puss finds her way back to me safely and Mr Slow finds his way back to Whampoa. Baby is well taken care of by someone. Tabby is always guided, protected and loved by angels too:).

Wish Mel can successfully manage her weight and her career will bring her to the next level and she will stay healthy always.

As for me, I want to me a HEALTHY Millionaire. Yes, I want to be a healthy(in all ways) millionaire:).

Another 40 mins to 2014. I am not at all excited actually. Perhaps I am getting old. Unlike during my younger years, it was always about partying and counting down.

Getting a little sleepy and tired.

Hmm…I miss and love Miemi.
