We have just completed the Tara chanting and prayers. We started our first session yesterday at 7.30p.m. It is a meaningful celebration this year. And it will be every year.
Chet, the senior community cat at AMK is adopted by a kind lady. Chet is old and has a slight kidney problem. She is unable to jump due to her old age. The neighbours in the area love her a lot. She was well taken care by the people. I went to visit Chet a month ago and I could not find her. She was always at the same spot whenever I visited her. I called one of the caregivers and she actually took her in. I was so happy. It was the most joyous moment for me in 2015.
This is Chet in her new home.
Days later, her mummy bought her a bed:). What more can I ask:)?
Sunshine remains active and playful as ever. It has been more than a year that I have brought Sunshine home. She was very ill then. Sunshine is still taking Retromad1. I am delighted that Retromad1 will be sold in the market soon. There will be hope for FIV and FeLV cats.
Mischievous face!
Many kittens have been adopted in 2015. And they have all gone to a responsible and loving home:). These include the three siblings – Gin, Debbie and Kelly from Catholic Junior College, Angel, Patrice and Elsa from Whampoa, and Brownie from Hougang. The sad side is Moo, Ginby and Donpak had gone missing… And Blessed met with an accident… They will always be in my heart.
The beneficial thing that happened in 2015 was I have finally found my Sangha and an authentic spiritual teacher. Practising Dharma has benefited me wholly. By practising, it will also benefit others.
In 2016, I hope to benefit others as much as I can by practising dharma, accumulating merits through virtue action, sending dedications and making the right effort.
