Cats who teach me to fly…

As promised, I made a small flower arrangement for Miemi today. I love the roses, especially the colour.

Our bond is never ending. Hope Miemi is able to sniff it=).

I spent the whole day creating grand opening flower arrangements. I did three new arrangements and I love them all. My skill in flower arrangement has improved. Mel is my photographer. She took all the photos. I was tired after the second arrangement but I told myself that I had to finish three today. There is still a bear bouquet which I have not done yet. I will do so by this weekend.

I miss scooting so much. Hopefully Mel has time to scoot with me. Mel is going to start work next Monday. She told me she is going to be very busy. See, she just told me that she forgot to dye my hair.

Mel cooked for the strays today. To my surprise, the strays seemed to like the food. Even Queenie ate it. I guess it was probably because of the over fried eggs that Mel had cooked:p.

Queenie behaved like a big gangster today. She didn’t want others to eat the food. She beat them lightly on their head and hissed at them. Warrior came to eat and Queenie stared at her. Warrior looked so frightened by her gaze and stopped eating and moved away. Mel had to bring the food to Warrior.

Queenie is still all cute to me. We didn’t scold her but told her not to do It. She is not aggressive. Oh.. They ate my Solid Gold dry food and I was happy. I left the junk dry food for them. Their main meal will be Solid Gold dry food. I will stop feeding them junk food when it is finished.

Cashie and Monnie love the Fancy Feast dry food. Poor them, I didn’t allow them to eat. I gave them only a few. Miemi was fortunate. She had Fancy Feast all by herself. I never felt regretted giving her. However, when Miemi returns, I probably would not feed her junk food. I would only give that as a treat.

I am waiting for Miemi to return. I also look forward to see Queenie and the rest tomorrow. I want to spoil Cashie and Monnie. They all give me a purpose in life…

These lotus were bought for Miemi on last Saturday.

I always love white lotus. I hope Miemi loves it too=).

It wouldn’t hold long perhaps due to the humid weather as well as the haze. It turned black the next day and I had to throw it away. Mel said ” impermanence”=).

I will be doing new flower arrangements tomorrow. I will make Miemi an arrangement too. She will see beautiful flowers again tomorrow, I promise! Mummy always always love you!

This is my 100th blog. Interesting! Ever since Miemi left me(in fact she hasn’t), I have written so much about her, Cashie, Monnie and the stray cats. I have spoke very little about volunteering myself in other areas. I have stopped volunteering myself in other areas Infact. I spend my money and time buying food and feeding the strays and if I come across any stranger who is in need of help, I would still give a helping hand. Just like today, an old lady asked me the way to Raffles MRT station. I guided her the way. These are little things in our daily life.

I realised today that I spent almost 40mins preparing food for the strays. I boiled 150g of chicken breast, fried two eggs, smashed one and a half tablets of supplements and mixed with one and a half can of cat’s canned food. The canned wet food I bought are sardine and tuna. Chicken meat are for them to feel full after eating and eggs contain high protein. Supplements are the necessity for cats, to keep their immune system strong. Canned food may be salty, therefore, I add chicken and eggs to make it less salty. I have clean water for them too. Whenever they finish their meal, I would place the water right in front of them to make them drink. Every cat except Amazing B and Baby B drinks the water cos after Amazing and Baby finish their meal, they would walk away immediately. I have no chance to get hold of them, especially Baby. He still keeps a distance and runs away when I am near.

Queenie is not eating wet food but dry junk food which I fed her. I bought Solid Gold grain free dry food for them online and I will receive it tomorrow. I will feed them a better quality dry food instead of the junk ones but still I will mix a small portion of junk food to Solid Gold food.

He is a big eater, eats both wet and dry food.

Here comes Daddy B.

Daddy B eats dry food. He always let Baby B eats first before he eats. Baby now sticks to Amazing and no longer stay with Daddy.

I make a point to give them good quality food cos I don’t want Miemi, Cashie and Monnie to eat bad quality food too. What I hope for them is to be safe and stay healthy always. I want to see all of them every day. I want every, every one of them to be safe and sound always.

Mel and I bought a season ticket to watch the badminton matches. My favourite men’s double, Cai Yun and Fu Haifang from China were here. Too bad. Neither did I manage to catch them live nor catch them on TV.

They were not as strong and powerful as before. I expected them to at least fight their way to semi-finals but they did not. They lost to the Indonesia team during quarter finals. I rushed home from the stadium in fact to try to watch them play on TV. However, it was not telecast as it was time for the next program to be telecast. I missed it!

We went to watch the semi-finals at the indoor stadium but stayed home to watch the final. The Final was fully telecast. It was nice to watch at home as my three angels were with me. I always love to do everything at home.

To me he was like “action, action”. Since I was an hour early and had nothing to do, I took some pictures.

This year, the women’s double and women’s single went to China. Mixed double, men’s singles and men’s double went to Indonesia.

I don’t know if Li-Ning would sponsor again next year but I hope someone does. I still love to watch it again.

The weather has been hot and humid these few days. I can feel heat all over my house. I hardly feel any wind except the wind coming from the fan. Cashie and Monnie hide themselves in the bathroom. Guess it is much cooler there. I wonder if Miemi feels warm too=). Always love and care for her, no matter where she is. She is always in my heart. My beloved Miemi.

I get thirsty easily at home even when I am not doing anything. Cashie and Monnie came to the bedroom and lay down a little while.

The weather is too warm for them to sleep a little longer on the bed and cushioned chair. Both of them are now lying on top of the refrigerator. I wonder if it feels cooler there.

Both of them have grown up so much and they hardly find me in the middle of the night. They used to eat hungrily three times per day. Now they have two meals per day. It is a joy to watch them grow. It was amazing to watch Miemi grew and got old too. I love the time we spent together. Every memories with her were precious to me. These memories will live in my heart forever.

I will do something different for her on my next flowers arrangement. I believe Miemi knows how much I love her eve without the flower arrangements.

Today I boiled two chicken fillets and mixed with a canned food, I added supplement too. I want the strays to eat healthily too. It is enough to feed the cats in Hougang but not enough for the cats below my block. I will add an egg tomorrow and see how I can improve.

Amazing B is always hungry. He ate a lot today. Baby B too. Queenie didn’t eat much. Father B too. There is another feeder there. I spoke with him once and I thank him for feeding the cats. I always feel happy to see people feeding and loving the strays. Oh… I took a bus down today. I felt so relax taking a bus. It took about 20mins off peak to and fro but I don’t know about peak hour which is from Monday to Friday. Will give it a try on Monday.
