On the 4th of April, Treasure was diagnosed with FIP. All these went back to Lady when she too was diagnosed with FIP. We knew it is a fatal disease… and I am prepared for the worst.
Treasure is not even two years old. He was one year and three month old at that time. We went to Dr Eunice again. I was expecting Treasure would received the same treatment given to Lady. This time round, Treasure was lucky.
There was a research who “found” a cure. A type of injection that can help relieve FIP or even cure. But this jabs are only sold in the USA. However, China managed to replicate it. We got it from “black market”.
At first we started Teasure with injection. However, when we injected the fluid into his body, Treasure began to jump and scream in pain. After a few days of injecting, we decided to give him pills instead. We really can’t bear to see him in pain always.
The pills called “Mutian” have to be taken for 84 days. So I am in charge of giving him pills. Treasure is extremely a good boy. I fed the pill with treats and he just swallow. There is not one day that I find it difficult to feed him.

This is Treasure on the day when he was diagnosed.

And this is Treasure on his 84th day of pills. Vets say that he was discharged with clean bill of health. As long as the sickness does not recur within three months time, he is considered as recovered.
Treasure did well… We hope to see Treasure remain active and healthy. Treasure is a lucky boy!
