Thunder from hougang passed on today. He was limping 5 days ago. I tried to grab him but he slipped away. Despite that he was limping, he ate well. He was better when I fed him last night and this evening, I saw him lying at the carpark. I quickly ran towards him… I carried him to the void deck. He was hard and cold. Guess it must have been quite a while that he had passed on.
I filled a container with water, chanted the mantra and blew it on the water. Next I sprinkled him with the water to purify his negative karma. I also chanted the mantra and blew hard on him many times and this is another way to purify his negative karma. Said prayer for him…
I called Mobile Pet Cremation. They arrived in 30 mins. Thunder will be cremated tomorrow and his ashes will be scattered at Semakau Island. This is the little thing Mel and I can do for him…
Early last week, I was asked to help to rescue a number of cats and kittens at Defu Lane. The lady who approached me helped me a lot on the dogs that I rescued. And this is a chance for me to repay her.
I followed her to the place where the cats and kittens live. The condition was terrible and even the rats are bigger than the kittens.
There was an injured cat. He had pus on his right hind leg. It was rather a big one. Without even considering, I sent him to the vet two days later since the clinic closed the next day. It was Animal World Vet Clinic that I went. The vet and nurse removed his pus. I was still worried about him so I left him for a night for the vet or nurses to monitor him cos I want to make sure that he was completely well before I bring him home.
The next day, the clinic called and told me he was very ill and they needed to run a blood test. I told them to go ahead.
In the afternoon, I spoke with the vet over the phone and he told me that his liver and kidney were good. Blood test were good and that he may had a septic shock. And later in the evening, the boss texted me and told me his condition had improved a lot that he was able to stand.
This is the only picture I have and it was sent from the clinic. I named him Tabby. Due to what happened to Tabby on that morning, I decided to transfer him to Island Vet.
The next day when I was on my way to collect Tabby, the clinic texted me and told me Tabby didn’t make it. I was very very upset.
I asked them to fax the blood test result and all the treatment report to Island Vet. I told them not to add anything cos I want everything to remain original. However, the vet named Sara, added a statement to say that Tabby was unable to sit and stand during the consultation which was NOT true. She said that I insulted her by accusing them for not being honest. She stared hard at me. And indeed, she was dishonest. She added a statement which was NOT true and I did not insult them. The truth speaks. And she was not the vet that attended Tabby during the consultation and the vet who attended Tabby was still not aware that Tabby had passed on cos he was in the late shift duty that day.
Finally, Dr Tharm texted me the diagnosis. That diagnosis that the vet at Animal World Clinic had told me was completely different from Dr Tharm’s diagnosis. Well, if Sara from Animal World Clinic can add a statement that was not true, they can also send a fake or false blood test and reports.
I brought Tabby home with a heavy heart. We decided to rename him and he was called Kind. I played Medicine Buddha mantra for him and did what I did for Thunder. Mobile Pet Cremation picked him up at 10pm that night. He was cremated on the next day and his ashes will be scattered at Semakau Island.
I brought a kitten home on the same day when I visited the place at Defu Lane cos she looked weak and sick. Kindle was about three weeks old. She was not active at all but she ate well. Sadly, Kindle didn’t make it… I wish I can watch her grow and find her a home. I love her so much…
I took two videos of her and I posted it on my instagram. I wish I could spend more time with her… I really want to watch her grow…
I bought orchids, sprinkled Kindle with water that I had chanted. Blew her hard each and every time I chanted a mantra. Said a prayer for her. Placed the orchids all over her and wrapped her with a white towel…
I was supposed to send the Little Tabby kitten to the vet on Tuesday night, however, when I was at Defu Lane to pick him up, he was dying… he was not moving and he took a deep breathe every few seconds. I was glad that I was able to have him during his final moment so that I can chant the Medicine Buddha mantra for him.
Little Tabby passed on the same day as Kindle. Kindle passed on in the morning and Little Tabby in the evening.
It was already after 10pm that night when I brought Little Tabby home. I wanted to do the same thing as I did for Kindle, however, there was no way I can get flowers from the market or any florist shops at that time.
I remembered cold storage does sell flowers. So I called 24 hrs cold storage and managed to buy a purple chrysanthemum at Nex shopping mall.
I did what I did to Kindle. Wrapped Little Tabby with white towel and ready to bury Kindle and Little Tabby side by side below my block.
I set my alarm at 4.30 am. It was my first time burying cats or kittens myself. It was not easy. But I did it. I had blister on my right palm but all these was done from my heart. I wanted it this way. It was 5.10am when I reached home. I was heart broken…
Life goes on… There are still many that need help and I will not stop saving lives!
