Joy was rescued on Christmas, 27 December, last year. She was successfully adopted two weeks later.
Joy is an extremely “manja” cat.
I didn’t get to know her well as she was at the fosterer’s home. Whenever I visited her, she would jump on my lap and sit on it. She is a perfect lap cat.
It was a good opening year for me cos Joy has gone to a good home.
Two cats went missing three days ago.
Handsome from Malcom Road. And…
Sneaky from Whampoa.
I don’t know where Sneaky has gone to… All I know is that she is not the type of cat that follows people around. She is always the first one to approach me for food…
It has been three days. Whereever she is right now, I hope she is well taken care of and loved by many. And I also hope she finds her way back, just like Sayang.
Handsome is believed to be taken away by someone. Mel and I put up notices along Malcom Road. We are hoping that whoever took him away could call me and tell me his whereabouts and that he is fine.
I remember when I first saw Handsome, he was skinny and dirty. He walked everywhere looking for food. No one bothered to look at him until the day I told Mel that I had to grab hold of him and feed him everyday. I did it! I caught his attention and I found a feeding spot for him. I feed him every day without fail.
Day after day, he became fatter and stronger. Everyone who jogs and walks past him adore him. People started feeding him at his feeding area. Not every day of course. He was loved by so many.
I was hoping that someone could adopt him but whenever I ask people whom I think love him, they refused to.
Many may have seen Handsome without my presence. I believe strongly that he was taken away. I hope whoever has taken him away could call me and tell me about it…
So much for the first month of 2016. It is always so hard when you see cats every day at the same spot feeling so happy and then one day you don’t get to see them anymore….
Being a stray, their lives are unpredictable… I really hope humans can cherish not only mankind but all animals all the time…
I will always be with them…
