I got a trapper to round up the cats at Whampoa for sterilisation. We trapped more than ten and one of them wss Elsa.
Elsa appeared from no where. I have never seen her before. She popped up right in front of me. There was no effort in catching her. She just ‘manja’ her way to me. She is near five months old I guess.
This is Elsa. When I first hold her, my intention was to release her back to where she is. I had been thinking to myself that it should not be difficult to find Elsa a home.
Elsa is unique and beautiful. Honestly, I don’t like her tipped ear and I blame myself for the mistake. If only I made an effort to call the vet…
Yesterday morning, I posted Elsa on my FB. Hopefully to find her a suitable adopter. There were many enquiries. And finally in the evening, we had someone whom matches our criteria. Yay! Right now, I am waiting for her new owner to mesh up her windows and gate. When everything is done, Elsa will be on her way to her new home.
The adopter has agreed on the CWS adoption guidelines and I have nothing to worry about. What I need to do right now is to send her for vaccination.
Sending Elsa to her new home is not the end of it. We always follow up with the adopters. And somehow the adopters and us, we have become friends…
