We sent Mummy Yellow to Dr Heng, the only eyes specialist in Singapore, at Mt. Pleasant clinic for her eye check up a week ago. Yellow’s left eye was not fully developed. Her cataract is stuck to her lens. Thus, it makes the surgery impossible. Even if her cataract is removed, she is unable to have a clear version due to her underdeveloped eye. We think that opting for surgery is too risky for her as the cataract is sticking to her lens. Hence we decided not to go for it.
In years to come, if her cataract worsens, we may have to remove her eye ball. If we do not do so, Yellow would suffer a lot of pain in her eye. Since Day One when I saw her, she was already like this. I hope that Yellow’s eye will always remain this way. Her vision may not be clear but she does not feel any discomfort at all.

Yellow sleeping on a hammock that I recently bought for them.
Yellow’s kittens have grown so much! In less than two weeks time, they will be five months old.
Hugo has the biggest size among all.
Sparkie is mischievous and brave.
Vanilla is gentle.
Lastly, Minnie, the only female. She is always bullied by the boys and the smallest among all. She looks like her Mummy.
Not only do I often get confused with Yellow and Minnie, Mel too. We also get confused with Hugo and Sparkie, Elka and Vanilla.
I recently bought three hammocks for all of my cats.
I think Monnie enjoys the most.
Prince Elka feels really good too!
What should I buy for them next? 🙂
