After feeding the angels in Hougang this morning, I went to Whampoa. Sunshine, her Mummy and Mr Slow was the last batch I fed. Mummy walked to me first and Sunshine was behind her. I was shocked when I looked at Sunshine’s face. She looks weird. Weird on her chin. My ex neighbour passed by. I stopped her and asked her to look at Sunshine’s chin. My ex neighbour too agreed that Sunshine’s chin is swollen.
It was 30mins to noon and AMK veterinary closes at 12pm and opens at 2pm. I had to bring Sunshine home first. I was so afraid to bring her home cos she was so aggressive towards all my cats and I had to isolate her.
Sunshine was given two injections. One was a painkiller and another was an antibiotic. It took two nurses and a vet to get hold of Sunshine. Sunshine screamed so loud and everyone in the clinic heard her.
A pain and anti inflammatory syrup was prescribed for Sunshine to be taken with or after meal.
I left food and water for Sunshine before I went out and when I got back, Sunshine didn’t touch the food at all. I didn’t see any improvement on Sunshine’s chin and I began to worry again.

I decided to place her cage on top of the table. Cats always prefer to rest themselves in a higher place.
After shifting her, she began to eat and finally I could feed her her medicine. I can see that she was feeling better. She even groomed herself. I hope she gets better tomorrow.
Sunshine is really a very cute girl to me. I don’t know how she got her swollen chin. She was perfect when I saw her the day before. Don’t know what caused her chin to be swollen overnight. The vet said there was no fracture on her jaw. There was no sign of pus or wound.
I need to monitor her for the next two to three days. Hope she recovers soon! Cute Sunshine!
