Cats who teach me to fly…

This kitten was abandoned around a week ago. I was very angry when I saw the lady released him. I knew Sunkiss was stressed and scared but there was nothing I could do but to feed him whenever he comes around and yes, he did come to me for food whenever I was feeding Blackie, Puss and the rest. He didn’t come straight to me but he hid at a corner and I happened to notice him and I brought food to him.

I brought him for sterilisation yesterday. I knew he is thin but I didn’t know that he was not well taken care of by the family who kept him.

He is so skinny. The vet said that he is too skinny and needs supplement. He had a fresh wound which the doctor suspected that he inflicted as he licked himself. When I brought him home from the vet and took a good look at him, I realized that he is really very thin and his wound does not look good to me and I can see his bone on his leg. I felt his bony spine and my heart goes to him.

I can’t wait till 10pm last night to feed him. I fed him 15mins earlier. Feeding him little by little. I gave him Virbac nutri-plus supplement  and left him Wellness core dry food the whole night. He had a good sleep after his meal. Mel said that he looked like he hasn’t been sleeping for a long time.

I agreed with Mel. When he was downstairs, I saw him crouching and hiding. He always hid under the car. He was chased by playful Puss and also by Blackie the day before yesterday. Whenever I noticed him, I would feed him with plenty of food.

He is sleeping under my bed now. Sleeping at where Cashie and Monnie are sleeping. I let him roam the house freely and only keeps him in the cage when I am out and when I am sleeping at night. The rest of the time, I would let him out.

Whenever I brought stray cats home, Cashie and Monnie would hiss at them. I hope that both of them are not stressed by what I am doing. That is to help the stray cats.

Miemi was around last night, probably she was wondering which cat I was helping this time. Her visitation was an encouragement to me to help and save the stray cats. I believe she misses me. I can feel her. Just like she knows I miss her too.

I hope I can help Sunkiss to become healthy. Let him put on a little weight healthily. Mel and I were thinking of putting him up for adoption. We have checked with the vet that we can only bath him after 14 days. We will put him up for adoption and find him a good loving home.
