I kept Miemi’s urn on top of my cupboard in the hall. I have displayed many of Miemi’s photos beside it. I also had her yearly birthday photos pasted on the wall. I want to honour her and remember her. I want to connect with her every day.
Before I left for Hainan dao for holidays, I made a flower arrangement of lilies for her and left it beside her urn. I want her to appreciate fresh flowers at where she is now, at the meadow, being healthy and playing with her angel friends.
The next day after when I got back from my holidays, I bought a few stalks of orchids for her and myself too. I chose two best stalks for her. Orchids are beautiful. In fact, flowers are all beautiful to me.
When Miemi was around, she would always watch me doing flower arrangements and she loved to sleep beside the flowers and I always tap her head with a stalk of rose. I missed her so much.
Last night, I make her another flower arrangement.
I watered the flowers twice today. My house is filled with rose fragrance. I hope Miemi loves it.
Miemi and I will stay connected this way until we meet again at the rainbow bridge…
